About the Role: Customer Care Representative I We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Care Representative I. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will handle a variety of incoming customer phone calls, providing accurate information and solutions while adhering to company policies, procedures, and Pennsylvania Utility Commission (PUC) rules and regulations. If you are proactive, solution-oriented, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities: Handle customer calls in a timely and professional manner, following company-provided procedures and ensuring accurate information is provided. Demonstrate an understanding of policies and procedures to respond to customer calls, striving for a reduction in the need for supervisor callbacks. Participate in voluntary and mandatory training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills. Assist with floor training and/or shadowing opportunities when needed to support team members. Complete special assignments as needed in a timely manner, contributing to the team's success. Maintain responsible time and attendance, adhering to company policies and procedures. Participate in mandatory and voluntary overtime as needed to ensure seamless customer service. Requirements and Qualifications: Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service environment preferred. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong computer skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask independently. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP CRM and ECC systems. Previous experience working for a utility company. Thorough understanding and adherence to PUC rules/regulations, including Chapter 56 and Chapter 14, along with company policies and procedures. What We Offer: Competitive Compensation and Incentives: As a Customer Care Representative I, you will start at $19.00 per hour, with opportunities to earn incentives up to $500 after successful completion of training and $500 after 3 months of independent call-taking. Once fully trained and independently call-taking, you will be eligible for additional incentives up to $250 per month for achieving or exceeding all scorecard metrics.
