Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 3+ years of software development experience, with a focus on big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc.) Strong data warehousing concepts and experience with financial reporting environments Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala Experience with distributed systems, including Hadoop and Spark Strong understanding of SQL and experience with complex SQL queries (Hive, PySpark, etc.) Experience with UNIX shell scripting Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker) Experience with Kafka streams or similar technologies Familiarity with GitHub, Bitbucket, or other version control systems Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., HBase, Couchbase, MongoDB) Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent technical and analytical skills, with the ability to design and develop complex software applications.
