Job Overview The Customer Service Representative will play a pivotal role in delivering personalized and caring client experiences, efficiently handling sales and service transactions, identifying financial needs, and recommending products and services tailored to meet the unique requirements of our clients. This position requires a thorough understanding of banking products, services, policies, and regulations, as well as the ability to engage in sales and service activities that enhance the financial well-being of our clients. Key Responsibilities Build and expand banking relationships through proactive customer outreach and engagement. Service, acquire, and deepen customer relationships, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. Accountable for achieving individual and team sales and servicing goals, contributing to the overall success of the Retail Banking team. Develop business and support servicing needs of customers, providing advice-led consultations to identify and meet their financial needs. Adapt to the needs of the office, providing customer service in both transaction processing and sales roles. Proactively engage customers in conversations about their financial needs, introducing them to alternative banking solutions such as mobile banking, digital banking, and ATMs/ITMs. Maintain knowledge and compliance with arenaflex's Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures, as well as regulatory compliance requirements. Support daily operations of the office, including processing transactions, maintaining a cash drawer, and ensuring compliance with security and audit procedures. Develop and maintain broad knowledge of products and services to support client needs, referring complex customer needs to the appropriate team member or business partner. Identify and resolve client issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring an outstanding banking experience. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent business experience. At least 1+ years of financial services experience in retail banking, with a demonstrated ability to process transactions and execute an advice-led approach with customers. Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with the ability to personalize features and benefits of products/services to customers with varying needs. Demonstrated knowledge of bank products and services, as well as a familiar advice-led consultative approach to engaging customers and offering solutions. Experience fulfilling customer transaction and service requests, with a strong desire to improve the financial well-being of customers by providing education and advice. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: A Bachelor's Degree. 3+ years of financial services experience in retail banking, with a demonstrated ability to process transactions and execute a consultative advice-led approach with customers, successfully opening new accounts.
