About Our Opportunity As an Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Skills Teacher on Outschool, you'll have the flexibility to teach from the comfort of your own home or our remote office, with a schedule that suits your lifestyle. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver high-quality online classes focused on Emotional Intelligence (EQ) skills, tailored to the needs and interests of our learners. Create engaging lesson plans, incorporating a range of teaching methods and materials to promote interactive learning. Communicate effectively with learners and their families, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure a positive learning experience. Maintain a professional and prompt communication style, adhering to Outschool's community standards and class content policy. Utilize technology to facilitate online learning, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for learners. Continuously evaluate and improve your teaching practices, incorporating learner feedback and staying up-to-date with best practices in EQ skills education. Essential Qualifications At least 18 years old and residing in one of the eligible countries (USA, Mexico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, or the UK). Strong expertise or passion for Emotional Intelligence (EQ) skills, with a deep understanding of the subject matter. Ability to receive PayPal payments and manage your own finances as an Independent Contractor. Reliable and fast internet connection (over 3Mbps upload and download) and the technical know-how to effectively run online classes. Excellent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner. Willingness to verify your identity and pass a criminal background check. Preferred Qualifications Teaching or tutoring experience, particularly in online or EQ skills education. Formal education or training in a relevant field, such as psychology, education, or social work. Experience working with children or young adults, with a deep understanding of their needs and learning styles. Familiarity with Outschool's platform and teaching style, with a willingness to adapt to our unique approach.
