Role Description and Responsibilities In this dynamic and challenging role, you will work closely with the blithequark Digital Services Team as a summer intern, focusing on the development and implementation of innovative digital solutions that enhance customer service experiences. Your key responsibilities will include: Ideating and delivering digital-first experiences that integrate seamlessly into an omni-channel ecosystem, ensuring a cohesive and engaging customer journey. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, customer care, IT, finance, and marketing, to translate customer needs into actionable initiatives that promote customer success and business efficiency. Defining opportunities and measures of success for identified concepts, partnering with technology teams to develop and refine these concepts, and prioritizing initiatives based on business value and customer impact. Constructing comprehensive business cases to secure funding, managing product roadmaps to optimize customer and business value, and defining solutions and features via Epic and Capability level user stories to clearly articulate expectations to delivery teams. Developing strategies to quantify the competitive performance of blithequark's operations and/or markets, evaluating the potential impact of changes, and reporting out forecasts that affect the industry, ensuring data-driven decision making and informed strategic planning. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a combination of academic achievement, technical expertise, and interpersonal skills, including: An MBA degree, demonstrating a strong foundation in business strategy, analysis, and management. Experience in digital product management, with a focus on web, virtual assistance, app, social messaging, asynchronous/synchronous chat, IVR, and other digital channels. Proficiency in translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products, with a strong understanding of customer needs and market trends. Ability to prepare and present compelling business cases for new products/services, with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, competitive analysis, and predictive modeling, with a solid technical background and understanding of software development and web technologies. Preferred Qualifications and Experience While not essential, the following qualifications and experience will be highly valued: Demonstrated experience with full product life cycle management, from concept to launch and post-launch evaluation. Working knowledge of customer journey mapping techniques, with the ability to apply these techniques to identify areas for improvement and optimize customer experiences. Proficiency in Google Analytics, Jira Align, Scaled Agile Framework, PowerBI, and Quantum Metric, with the ability to leverage these tools to inform product development and business decisions. Working knowledge of voice of the customer (VoC) survey applications, such as Qualtrics and Medallia, with the ability to analyze and apply customer feedback to drive product innovation. Experience in building executive-level presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and strategies effectively to senior stakeholders.
