As a Delivery Station Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our customers receive their packages on time and with a smile. About the Role As a Delivery Station Customer Service Associate, you'll play a critical role in enhancing the customer experience by providing real-time, hands-on support. You'll be the face of blithequark, connecting customers with the information they need about their packages and resolving any issues that may arise. This role is not just about fulfilling orders; it's about putting smiles on our customers' faces and making a tangible difference in their day. Key Responsibilities Communicate directly with customers in-person, via phone, and email to address their concerns and provide timely updates. Empathize with customers, prioritize their needs, and uphold blithequark's values by respecting every customer interaction. Resolve customer issues efficiently and set appropriate expectations to ensure a positive experience. Understand and respond accurately to customer inquiries, composing clear, concise, and grammatically correct written responses. Approach problems with logical judgment to ensure the best possible outcome for the customer. Make quick and effective decisions on behalf of the customer, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Work a flexible full-time schedule (40+ hours per week), adapting to the needs of the business. Physical and Environmental Demands To perform this role effectively, you'll need to be able to: Carry, lift, push, and pull up to 49 pounds. Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during your shift. Stand and walk for extended periods, up to 12 hours. Work in an environment with varying noise levels, for which hearing protection will be provided. Work in an environment where the temperature may vary due to outside weather conditions. A Day in the Life You'll be based at one of our last-mile delivery warehouses, where blithequark's logistics system operates. As orders are dispatched and delivered, you'll work closely with our warehouse associates, delivery partners, and customers to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution. Your role will involve informing delivery partners about rescheduled deliveries and resolving any delivery issues promptly to maintain a great customer experience. Developing Logistical and Customer Expertise Operating at the heart of blithequark's logistics, you'll develop a deep understanding of our supply chain and local delivery connections. This expertise, combined with your daily interactions with customers, will set you apart in your role and provide a foundation for future growth within the company. Qualifications and Skills Basic Qualifications High School or equivalent diploma. Previous experience in Customer Service. Ability to prioritize work effectively to ensure efficiency. Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Outlook. Familiarity with multiple web browsers, database searching, and instant messenger tools. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work-related experience. Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills. Experience in understanding performance metrics and developing them to measure progress against key performance indicators. The base pay for this position ranges from $34,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $59,400/year in our highest geographic market.
