Job Description: Data Scientist III, Product Analytics Are you passionate about data, analytics, and collaborating with top talents to tackle complex problems? Do you have a knack for making an immediate impact on re-imagining travel by providing insightful recommendations that drive improvements? We're seeking an experienced analytics professional to join our Product Analytics Team, supporting a portfolio of leading online travel brands. Key Responsibilities: Apply Your Expertise: Utilize your skills in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data visualization to improve customer experience and business results, with a focus on impactful analytics. Steward the product team to drive insights. Own Test Excellence: Evaluate AB/MVT tests, improve learning, and proactively identify opportunities to recommend new features for testing. Explore alternative methods to supplement randomized testing. Develop Metrics Framework: Build accurate and easy-to-consume dashboards/reports for key metrics, collaborate with the product team in goal setting, product performance review, and strategy planning. Identify and Solve Problems: Take the initiative to identify current and potential problems and recommend the best solutions given the trade-offs. Who You Are: Experienced Analytics Professional: 5+ years of work experience in quantitative analysis to tackle business problems. STEM Background: A Bachelor's degree in at least one science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field. Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to break down business scenarios into constituent parameters. Proficient in Data Analysis Tools: Experience with large data sets and proficiency in SQL or other programming languages (R, Python). Excellent Communicator: Ability to tell stories with data. Statistical Knowledge: Understanding of statistics and hypothesis testing (e.g., Confidence Interval, Regressions, Time Series, Clustering, Factor Analysis). Data Visualization: Experience with visualization tools such as building Tableau reports. Bonus Skills: Experience in Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is a plus. Curiosity and Passion: A strong attention to detail and a passion for making an impact.
