Job Overview The System Quality team at blithequark is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to help us further develop software quality for iOS and macOS. We practice agile, rapid development that relies heavily on a tight collaboration between Planning and QA. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in designing and developing new tools and processes for the SWE Program bundle. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement data pipelines and workflows Develop and maintain large-scale data systems, including data warehousing, data governance, and data quality Design, execute, and analyze experiments or tests to inform product decisions Work with various stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements Develop and maintain technical documentation for data systems and processes Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and software development Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field Experience with distributed computing, data storage, and workflow management (e.g., Cassandra, Spark, Airflow) Strong understanding of data science concepts, including data variety, cleaning, extraction, transformation, loading, analysis, and visualization Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Passion for customer-focused design and high-quality development Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field Experience with machine learning, deep learning, or natural language processing Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++ Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a unique combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills.
