About the Content Operations and Innovation Team The Content Operations and Innovation team at Netflix helps content delight members with efficient operational workflows and execution, while leveraging our scale and innovating to deliver more value on screen. Within this team, we are looking to host an intern on the Netfx crew during Summer 2024. Netfx is a growing go-functional visual effects (VFX) initiative built on Netflix's innovative platform that optimizes the pairing of skills to responsibilities to execute a high volume of global work. Netfx has an extensive ecosystem of assets (VFX companies, artists) throughout the post-production environment, ensuring our members experience the best version of every show, sparking joy around the world. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive analysis of current well-established transactional, digital marketplaces Research and analyze industry trends and competitive landscapes for global marketplaces Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to aid strategic decision-making Collaborate with senior team members to plot and refine competitive pricing strategies Assist in developing financial models to evaluate business performance and assess capacity situations Contribute to forecasting and budgeting procedures to support financial planning efforts Collaborate with teams across departments to identify business opportunities Participate in meetings and presentations to share findings and recommendations Essential Qualifications Must have an interest in working in the film industry Must have an interest in global marketplace analysis and platform (customer/seller) experience Must live in the designated location during the internship (relocation and housing assistance may be provided, if applicable) Must have basic knowledge of computers and familiarity with software programs, including Google Suite (e.g., Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel) Must be collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced environment Must be self-motivated and able to take initiative to work independently Must have attention to detail and practice good judgment Must be curious about learning new technology and workflows Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and utmost discretion when being privy to sensitive information Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in data entry or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits As a Data Entry Specialist at Netflix, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with talented professionals, and develop your skills and knowledge in the film industry.
