Experienced Data Entry Professional – Remote Order Processing and Customer Service Specialist

Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for processing a high volume of orders on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail, and providing timely responses to customer inquiries. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, sales, and production teams, and will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Process a high volume of orders on a daily basis, understanding specific requirements for each order and customer Review orders for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that all necessary information is included Provide customers with timely responses to questions on order status, tracking, and other general inquiries, utilizing excellent verbal and written communication skills Manage online customer orders and associated data via EDI portals, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate Generate internal reports to sales and production teams, providing critical information to inform business decisions Regularly communicate with the warehouse to ensure customer satisfaction, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner Invoice orders daily, weekly, and as needed, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date Support the sales and marketing team as needed, providing administrative assistance and ensuring that all customer-facing materials are accurate and professional Handle other general office duties, including rotating tasks within the department as needed, and maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high degree of proficiency and proven past experience in the areas of data entry, using software, online portals, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools. You will also need to have previous experience with ERP software, as well as proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
