Job Summary As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry process. Your primary responsibilities will include entering and quality checking property data and photos, as well as performing various administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities Print and prepare field cards and reports for field data collectors, ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date. Track fieldwork sign-out/sign-in, maintaining a record of all field activities and ensuring that all data is properly documented. Compile and sort information for computer entry, utilizing your organizational skills to ensure that all data is properly categorized and easily accessible. Input information from field data property cards in a timely manner, ensuring that all data is accurate and complete. Compare data against field and aerial photos, verifying the accuracy of all information and making any necessary corrections. Verify the accuracy of data inputted into the computer system, ensuring that all information is correct and up-to-date. Maintain operations by following policies and procedures, adhering to all guidelines and protocols to ensure the smooth operation of our data entry process. Maintain confidentiality of County and taxpayer information, handling all sensitive data with care and discretion. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing additional tasks as needed, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances. Answer phones for the reassessment office, providing excellent customer service and responding to all inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Assist with various projects under the guidance of the project manager, utilizing your skills and expertise to contribute to the success of our team. Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor with County and taxpayers, building strong relationships and providing exceptional service to all stakeholders. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Computer savvy with a keen eye for detail, able to accurately input data and identify any errors or discrepancies. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks, managing multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines with ease. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with colleagues, County officials, and taxpayers. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care and discretion. High school diploma or equivalent required, with some college or technical training preferred. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: Previous experience in data entry or a related field, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency. Knowledge of property reassessment procedures and protocols, with experience working with local government agencies or private companies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new software applications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the data entry process.
