Job Summary The Data Entry Professional will be responsible for entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems, transmitting information or documents using a computer, and reading and visually verifying information in a variety of formats. The ideal candidate will have excellent data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball to update records, files, reservations, and answer inquiries from guests Verify information in documents or on computer screens, including text, printed forms, and lists for accuracy and completeness Operate standard office equipment other than computers, such as telephone, typewriter, fax, photocopier, calculator, and electronic peripherals Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift Follow all arenaflex policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings Follow all arenaflex safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors Essential Qualifications The successful candidate will have: High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field Excellent data entry skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and procedures Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidates will have: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field 2-3 years of experience in data entry or a related field Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in database management and data analysis software Experience working in a team environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Skills and Competencies The ideal candidate will possess: Attention to detail : ability to accurately enter and verify data Organizational skills : ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Communication skills : ability to communicate clearly and professionally with others Teamwork skills : ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals Adaptability : ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Technical skills : proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
