Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry Operator at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include collecting and entering data into our databases, ensuring accurate records of valuable company information. You will work closely with our data team and Data Manager to achieve our data management goals. Some of your key duties will include: Entering customer and account data from source documents within specified time limits, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Compiling, verifying accuracy, and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry, following established priorities and guidelines. Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output to ensure data quality and integrity. Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents, utilizing available resources and databases. Scanning documents and printing files as needed, maintaining organized digital and physical files. Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information, adhering to data integrity and security policies. Responding to queries for information and accessing relevant files, providing excellent customer service and support. Complying with data integrity and security policies, ensuring the proper use of office equipment and addressing any malfunctions or technical issues. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you should possess: Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk, with a strong understanding of data management principles and practices. Experience with MS Office and data programs, including spreadsheets and online forms, with the ability to learn new software and systems. Familiarity with administrative duties, including office equipment operation and maintenance, such as fax machines and scanners. Typing speed and accuracy, with excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and the ability to stay focused on assigned tasks and priorities. High school diploma, with additional computer training or certification considered an asset, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
