This role is an integral part of our team, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely input of data into our Blue Chip computer system, which in turn supports the calculation of production performance and incentive dollars for all distribution center associates and management. Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on the 3rd shift, working from 11pm to 7am, Sunday through Thursday. For the first month, you will be required to train on the 1st shift. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $17, plus a $3/hour shift differential for working the 3rd shift. As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in our operations, working closely with distribution center management, the engineering team, and payroll staff to ensure seamless data entry and reporting processes. Key Responsibilities Data Entry and Accuracy: Input time and production data for all distribution center associates into the Blue Chip computer system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. This includes summarizing production sheets, checking for errors, and reporting discrepancies. Performance Calculations: Translate DCIS data and calculate performances for each associate covered by the program, as well as calculate individual bonus dollars based on the associate's ability to meet production standards. Reporting and Analysis: Generate and distribute production and incentive dollar reports to distribution center management and payroll on a daily and weekly basis. Analyze system output to identify and troubleshoot erroneous data. Administrative Tasks: File paperwork in accordance with established procedures, rotating files periodically for storage, and undertake other projects as assigned by management. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: Previous Clerical/Administrative Experience: A background in clerical or administrative work, with experience in data entry and record-keeping. 10-Key Experience: Fast and accurate 10-key skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a data-intensive environment. Math Skills: Good math skills, with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 25 lbs, as required. Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience with Blue Chip Computer Systems: Previous experience working with Blue Chip or similar computer systems. Data Analysis Skills: Advanced data analysis skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in data. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other software applications.
