Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with the team to generate candidate solutions, weighing tradeoffs given the problem context and development timeline, implementing the selected solution, and facilitating the adoption of the solution by the team. Assisting, developing, and maintaining our present set of engine-specific and custom tools that we use daily. Building and guiding custom asset pipelines to enhance our development efficiency. Growing our proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and platforms. Proactively identifying inefficiencies and elaborating areas in our improvement technique across disciplines. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you should possess: A strong passion for empowering others to do their best work. Experience with the overall tool lifecycle: discovering issues, comparing potential answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness. Enjoyment in operating with custom standalone tools. Experience growing tools that can be utilized by many game development disciplines. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, and Python. Ability to work effectively in a self-directed environment. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with custom game engines. Unreal or Unity experience. JavaScript and web tech experience.
