Key Responsibilities Creates programming that cycles, stores, and serves information for use by others. Develops data models and pipelines to integrate, collect, and normalize data that produces insights and addresses reporting needs. Writes ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes, designs database systems, and develops tools for real-time and offline analytical processing. Creates data pipelines that are flexible, repeatable, and secure. Investigates software and processes for data integrity and honesty, ensuring that data from various sources adheres to data quality and accessibility standards. Resolves issues and obstacles as they occur, collaborating with internal and external peers and supervisors to exchange semi-complex information related to assigned activities. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in data engineering; OR Advanced degree in a technical discipline. High-level knowledge of SQL. Experience establishing and maintaining key relationships with internal (peers, colleagues, and leadership) and external (business community, clients, and vendors) stakeholders within a matrix organization to ensure quality standards for service. Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions for driving improvement of results and finding solutions. Ability to travel up to 10% of the ideal time for business purposes (inside state and out of state). Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in a technical discipline. Experience with REST API development. Experience with Azure application development. Experience in Azure technologies like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks using Python or Scala, App Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Functions, Event Hubs, Event Grids, and Logic Apps. Experience in building Azure DevOPS pipelines to enable CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaaS), and automation.
