Key Responsibilities Build and optimize machine learning models to enhance the performance of driver abuse and driver seek algorithms in arenaflex's Last Mile group Drive weekly reputation updates and handle ad-hoc requests or queries associated with driver abuse models and escalations from business stakeholders Incorporate missing PO in driver abuse models and implement changes to the models as required Optimize and develop driver abuse models used by the Trust & Safety team to flag drivers and take necessary actions based on model output Automate the driver abuse pipeline for daily and hourly reports by incorporating additive models Build new store release demand prediction pipeline using ensemble methods, time series forecasting, and regression algorithms to predict order quantity in real-time and estimate driver supply needed to meet demand Run and maintain hourly driver abuse models, daily models, and driver abuse dashboards Create effective reporting and dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g., Python libraries, GGplot, Matplotlib, Ploty, and Tableau) to generate suitable graphical representations of data and model outcomes Support client requirements and design data representations for complex data Develop end-to-end predictive models for product improvements and optimization of existing features Apply best practices for model optimization, testing, and tuning using Chi-square, ROC curve, and root mean square error to evaluate accuracy, fit, validity, and robustness of multi-level models and model ensembles Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field At least 2 years of experience in an analytics or related field Experience with model building and optimization, machine learning, and deep learning algorithms Experience with predictive, statistical, and analytical modeling and exploratory data analysis techniques and strategies Experience with parametric and non-parametric distributions to enhance model performance Experience with model evaluation and validation, model fit, and testing, tuning, and validation strategies Experience with the impact of variables and functions on model performance Experience creating effective reporting and dashboards using data visualization tools Experience with data source identification and data set creation Experience with functional business areas and scenarios Experience applying database technology for data extraction, data manipulation, and data pre-processing using SQL Experience with code development and testing Experience with coding languages such as SQL, Python, and Pandas Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with Git and Github Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools Experience with agile development methodologies Experience with data storytelling and presentation Experience with stakeholder management and communication Career Growth and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
