Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Data Center Engineering Intern to join our team at arenaflex. As a Data Center Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on the physical design of our data centers, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that reduce operational costs and increase efficiency. Key Responsibilities Contribute to repairs, upgrades, deployments, and cabling of data center infrastructure Identify trends for system failure, document bugs, and work with remote teams to resolve them Communicate effectively with customers and partners to ensure seamless operations Contribute to projects in deployment and maintenance, and provide support for current and new data center infrastructure Configure and troubleshoot Linux OS-related challenges on our servers, and resolve critical or escalated technical issues over a large population of affected equipment Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should: Be currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related technical field Have experience with setting up a Network or Linux device Be able to speak English fluently Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidates will have: Familiarity with the fundamental principles of Network and Linux systems Ability to understand and expand data center architectures, products, system design, operations, maintenance, and procedures Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to apply tools to provide highly accurate analyses that ensure designs meet security requirements Availability to work full-time for at least 6 months outside of college term time Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess: Strong technical skills, including experience with Linux and Network systems Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
