Internship Details The Quality Control Standards Data Analyst Intern position is a 12-week internship that will take place from May 21 to August 9, 2024. As an intern, you will be expected to work 40 hours per week and be based at the company's Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX. While some flexibility is available, interns are expected to be available for team-related events. Key Responsibilities Perform data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements to support the Quality Control team. Assist in creating and communicating complex data insights and analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Respond to ad-hoc queries related to emerging maintenance issues and provide analytical support to senior leadership. Present findings, trends, and recommendations using data visualization tools to facilitate stakeholder understanding. Develop and distribute queries to extract and integrate data from various sources, establishing the cadence and validating data requirements. Identify process anomalies through audits and communicate findings to the team. Evaluate process effectiveness by monitoring for trends and errors. Ensure a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision. Perform other work-related tasks as directed by the team leader. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this internship, you must: Be pursuing a Bachelor's degree. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Have excellent communication and presentation skills. Be proficient in Microsoft Office. Be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experiences are highly valued: Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase. Experience with PowerPoint and presentation development. Previous internship or co-op experience in a related field. Coursework or projects involving data analysis and statistical modeling.
