Key Responsibilities Work with large, messy, disparate datasets to conduct ad-hoc analyses and inform critical business decisions Develop ETLs or processes to pull data from multiple locations and centralize it in a single table Create data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges Engage with team members and cross-functional groups to establish credibility and analyze stakeholder needs Partner with Operations, Finance, and Product teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks and reporting Document processes and share expertise with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience) Creativity with a User Experience basis to develop impactful Tableau Dashboards (1-2 years of experience) Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to understand and root cause business problems, ideally with a Supply Chain background and transportation experience Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations Experience with Python or other scripting languages Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and scripting languages (Python preferred) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
