Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our High-Level Analysis, Content team. As a Data Analyst at blithequark, you will play a key role in applying scientific rigor to optimize our content portfolio, marketing, and delivery process. You will work closely with our team to analyze client behavior, identify neglected client needs, and uncover hidden content opportunities. Key Responsibilities Apply advanced analysis procedures (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning) on large-scale, high-dimensional data to help drive business decisions Analyze client behavior (e.g., genre preferences, viewing patterns) to identify neglected client needs and undiscovered content opportunities Predict content engagement to help guide acquisition decisions Optimize our content launch and episode release strategy Test marketing strategies to enhance engagement and retention Provide ad-hoc analysis support to stakeholders to help drive the business forward Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a similar field At least 1 year of Data Analysis experience Proficiency in SQL and experience in R and/or Python Experience in statistical analysis and machine learning procedures: decision trees, regression, classification, etc. Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in Data Science, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a similar field A passion for Media and Entertainment Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems.
