Job Summary As a Data Analyst and Information Specialist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in the implementation, optimization, and standardization of the organization's cost and resource allocation models. You will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and documenting data that supports internal operations, resourcing, and cost assignments for the businesses we support. Key Responsibilities Build a deep understanding of costing and resourcing data related to our internal teams and functional partners. Support the coordination of high-priority projects that standardize and optimize financial cycles across the organization. Support internal business workflows, such as management costing, workforce management, and resource planning. Work with different data systems and provide ad-hoc analysis and reports to support business needs, research, and resolve metrics-based issues. Document workflows related to key processes, data collection, and maintenance, including tracking significant decisions and changes. Collaborate with Data Architects and system architects to support documentation and implementations of database designs. Develop strategic decision-making frameworks and write scripts that help us automate and scale. Refine insights from data and craft compelling messaging for executive audiences. Support Planning and Delivery Activities with ad-hoc requests from our partners. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 3+ years of experience in informatics, data analysis, data engineering, or technical fields. A Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Information Science, Statistics, Business Finance/Economics, Informatics, or Computer Science. Experience working with data and data manipulation software like R, SQL, Python; building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker, Airtable, Smartsheet. Understanding of social database design and capability. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Demonstrated self-starter with strong strategic fitness, unwavering insight, and excellent communication and direction skills. Successful collaboration and time management skills. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to step back and grasp the big picture. Excellent written and oral communication skills. A demonstrated ability to work with engineering delivery teams to discuss technical concepts. Experience with Excel, Smartsheet, or possibly AirTable.
