About the Role The Customer Care organization at blithequark is dedicated to providing top-notch customer service and technical support to our growing customer base. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in interpreting consumers' grievances, offering solutions, and educating them on credit bureau processes. This position is remote, with the requirement to work from home in the US, preferably within 45-60 minutes of our Allen, TX office. You will be part of a dynamic team that reports to the Supervisor, Customer Care, and contributes to creating opportunities for consumers, businesses, and society during significant life events. Key Responsibilities Respond to in-bound calls to assist with credit-related memberships, services, and product offerings, advocating for solutions that enhance consumers' creditworthiness. Help consumers understand credit bureau processes and guide them on the appropriate steps to request corrections. Receive customer requests for assistance, identify the support needed, and either provide help directly or forward requests to the relevant functional area. Manage escalated customer issues with professionalism and empathy. Qualifications and Requirements To excel in this role, you should possess: High-speed internet service with a minimum of 25 mbps download and 5 mbps upload speed. Experience in interpreting and responding to customer requests, with the ability to empathize with customers. A High School Diploma or GED. At least one year of customer service experience. Comfort and proficiency in using a computer for operations. The ability to pass a criminal background check, employment verification, education verification, credit check, and a drug screen. A flexible approach to work environments, with the ability to work remotely, in a hybrid setup, or in-office. Essential Skills and Competencies Success in this position requires: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to remain patient and composed under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity and engagement. Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications. Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
