About the Role We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Customer Support Specialist to join our high-performing team. This is a full-time, remote role that operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm EST. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in our call center, providing exceptional support to patients, insurance companies, and attorneys by processing medical record requests and offering status updates. Your ability to work comfortably in a high-volume production environment, documenting information across multiple platforms using dual computer monitors, will be invaluable to our team. Key Responsibilities: Process medical record requests via phone calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys, providing timely and accurate status updates. Document information efficiently in multiple platforms, utilizing two computer monitors to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, to perform tasks effectively. Collaborate with the team to achieve high-volume production goals while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction. Participate in comprehensive onsite/virtual training programs and job shadowing with an assigned mentor to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Qualifications and Skills To excel in this role, you should possess: Essential Qualifications: Experience in customer support, preferably in a healthcare or medical records environment. Comfort and proficiency in working with technology, including dual monitors and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide empathetic and professional support to a diverse range of customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality of service. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in medical records or a related field. Familiarity with health data exchange principles and practices. Certifications or training in customer service, medical records, or a related area.
