As a Customer Support Representative for Intuit TurboTax, you will play a critical role in ensuring that customers receive the help they need to successfully navigate the software and resolve any issues they may encounter. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer support via phone, chat, and/or video chat to Intuit TurboTax customers, focusing on software navigation and locating previous tax returns and amendments. Utilize critical thinking and multi-tasking capabilities to resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner. Escalate complex issues to senior support representatives or other relevant teams as necessary. Maintain a professional and friendly tone in all customer interactions, ensuring a positive customer experience. Navigate multiple systems and software applications to resolve customer issues and provide support. Essential and Preferred Qualifications Essential Qualifications: A sincere desire to assist customers and provide exceptional support. Tech-savvy and avid computer user with the ability to navigate multiple systems and software applications. Excellent communication skills, with a friendly tone and professional demeanor. Ability to work independently as an independent contractor. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in customer support, particularly in a technical support role. Familiarity with tax software and tax preparation processes. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits Earn up to $19 per hour, with the potential to earn between $16-$19/hour during peak times and $15.60-$17.50/hour during non-peak times, based on your performance. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule and work at times that suit you best. Technology and Equipment Requirements Personal computer (no tablet) with a Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system. Broadband internet connection, recommended at least 10 MBPS, with a wired connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet). Valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date. USB headset with microphone. A webcam will be loaned to you for the duration of the contract. Work Environment Requirements A quiet, uninterrupted workspace. An organized desk area.
