Our Call Center team is dedicated to ensuring our customers are successful, and we're looking for talented individuals like you to join our team and help us achieve our goals. **What You'll Do as a Customer Service Representative** As a Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you'll be responsible for handling inbound calls from our valued cardholders, providing exceptional customer service, and building relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues. Your key responsibilities will include: * Handling inbound calls from cardholders, resolving inquiries, authorizing sales, and maintaining up-to-date computerized customer information * Building relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues through effective communication and problem-solving skills * Maintaining a quiet, distraction-free work environment with access to high-speed internet * Working collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives **What You'll Need to Succeed** To be considered for this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills: * 6+ months of customer service experience, or military equivalent experience * Proficient computer skills, including the ability to manage information in multiple windows, proficiently type while talking, and be comfortable utilizing Microsoft Outlook * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions * Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues * Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred **Our Way of Working** As a Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you'll have the flexibility to work from home full-time, with the occasional requirement to meet in person. You'll need to live within a commutable distance of Rapid City, SD, and have access to high-speed internet. We'll provide you with the computer, technology, and equipment needed to successfully perform your job. **What You'll Need to Be Considered for This Role** To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements: * You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDIA) – for more information, click here. * You must live within 2 1/2 hours of the Rapid City, SD location you're applying to. * You must be 18 years old or older. * You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and submit fingerprints as part of the selection process. * New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they're eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from their manager to post (or the approval of their manager and HR if they don't meet the time in position or performance expectations). **Legal Authorization to Work in the U.S.** Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required for this role.
