Key Responsibilities Registers customer purchases on designated sales register, collects cash, and distributes change as needed; processes voids, returns, delays, discounts, and trades as required Provides clients with respectful, friendly, quick, and efficient help, recommending items for sale and suggesting upsell or cross-sell opportunities Settles customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive client experience, modeling and sharing customer support best practices with colleagues Maintains counters and retires clean and well-marketed, takes stock, and keeps records, checking in and pricing stock as required or as directed by the head manager or shift leader Carries out Organization resource protection methods to identify and minimize profit loss, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled items Develops and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, super designs, and sale stock, completing resets and updates as directed Assists with separation of food items and product placement as determined by policies/procedures, aiding in stock rotation and restocking outs for edible items Has working knowledge of store systems and store equipment, providing customer assistance in the photo area, including digital identification photo service and sales of special photo items Takes on web pick obligations, screens orders, and delivers orders to customers as they arrive at the store Assists with outside and inside maintenance, ensuring a clean, flawless, and deliberate store environment and appearance Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must be conversant in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). You should be eager to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous experience in a retail environment is preferred. Preferred Qualifications We prefer candidates with at least six months of experience in a retail environment, although this is not essential.
