About the Role We're looking for individuals to join our team of Work-From-Home Customer Service Representatives in a temporary capacity. As a Customer Service Home Agent, you'll be the friendly voice welcoming customers to blithequark, placing orders, and answering questions - all from the comfort of your Maine home office. Our customer service team takes calls from 8AM-8PM every day, and we expect to extend this to 10PM during our peak calling season from Thanksgiving until Christmas. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to blithequark customers via phone, ensuring a legendary customer experience. Place orders, answer questions, and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Utilize blithequark systems and technology to manage customer interactions and resolve issues. Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency while working in a remote environment. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on blithequark products, services, and policies. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: An interest in providing excellent customer service and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues. The ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to changing priorities and technologies. A quiet, dedicated workspace in your Maine home office that meets blithequark's technical and security requirements. A tech-savvy spirit with a computer, internet, and webcam that meet our specified requirements. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred: Previous customer service experience, particularly in a call center or remote environment. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service technologies. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and tasks. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues. Flexible scheduling: We're prioritizing candidates with maximum availability, requiring at least 24 hours of weekly availability, including Mondays, Tuesdays, and at least one weekend day. Technical Requirements To work as a Customer Service Home Agent at blithequark, you'll need to meet the following technical requirements: A personal computer with a compatible operating system (Windows 10 or above, or macOS Monterey 12.6.8, macOS Ventura 13.5.1, or macOS Sonoma 14.5). A webcam installed and ready to go. A separate headset with a microphone and USB connection for MS Teams video calls. A monitor at least 17" (24" preferred), full-size keyboard with number pad, and mouse with scroll wheel. Broadband internet with minimum download speeds of 25 Mbps and upload speeds of 5 Mbps. A modem/router with an available port for the phone connection and accessible within 10 feet of the phone. An existing phone (cell phone or landline) for emergency situations. Workspace Requirements To ensure a safe and productive work environment, we require: A separate workspace in your Maine home that is quiet and free from noise and distractions. A desk and chair that allow you to work safely and comfortably, incorporating good ergonomics. Compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards to protect customer information. Training and Support blithequark will provide: A phone (VoIP), headset, power brick, and cables. Software downloads to access our systems securely. Ongoing training and development to ensure your success in the role. Virtual, web-based training classes scheduled separately. Interview Requirements To participate in the interview process, you'll need: A PC or laptop with a webcam. An internet connection meeting our specified requirements.
