About the Role: Customer Service Representative (Student Loan Advisor) We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team as a Student Loan Advisor. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers, answering their questions, and resolving any issues they may have. Key Responsibilities: Take incoming calls, use chat, and complete outbound calls as necessary to assist customers with their queries and concerns Provide detailed information and answer frequent questions about student loans and related topics Process applications and resolve emerging problems that our customer accounts may face with accuracy and efficiency Practice active listening, be empathic, and communicate clearly with customers in a positive and professional manner Utilize standard technology such as a telephone, email, and web browser to perform job duties Navigate to pre-scripted responses and read them verbatim to provide basic general and claims-specific information Follow established and documented policies and standard operating procedures, including working within various systems, timekeeping, and documentation of calls Assist callers with filling out their applications and submitting them electronically to plan providers for processing Complete basic call logs, documentation, and related call details for each phone inquiry Schedule and Work Arrangements: This is an in-center position, with the possibility of working from home after 90 days, provided you meet the required performance, attendance, and compliance standards. The schedule for this role is as follows: Monday: 11:45am-8:15pm Tuesday: 10:45am-7:15pm Wednesday: 10:45am-7:15pm Thursday: 8:45am-5:15pm Friday: 8:45am-5:15pm Requirements and Preferred Skills: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute Experience working with a personal computer and the Windows operating system Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to multi-task and stay organized while completing simultaneous tasks Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Excel and Word Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge of contact center technology Excellent command of the English language and effective use of grammar skills What We Offer: At arenaflex, we offer a competitive compensation package, including: Competitive pay Sick time that starts accruing immediately after training completion Special event days throughout the year $25,000 life insurance paid for by arenaflex Paid holidays from day one of employment (subject to meeting certain criteria) Career Growth and Development: We are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
