Key Responsibilities Provide customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that all customers feel welcome and supported throughout their shopping experience. Assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor. Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store, ensuring that all products are faced, fronted, and stocked to the highest standards. Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using the POS system, ensuring that all transactions are completed efficiently and accurately. Remain constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, reporting any concerns or issues to management as necessary. Perform all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including participating in visual merchandising, supporting promotional activities, and contributing to the overall success of the store. Position Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent. Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and supporting store operations. Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a commitment to being available to work a variety of shifts to support the needs of the store.
