With a strong focus on outcomes and integrative medicine, our platform aims to ensure health and wellness improvements for every member. Our vertically-integrated platform supports members through the full care journey, from in-home sleep testing and digital diagnosis with sleep physicians to treatment delivery and ongoing care. Empower Sleep provides world-class sleep care without the hassle of the traditional healthcare systems (which can take > 3 months). We’re founded by a team of world-class sleep physicians, engineers, and operators. Now, we are growing our care team and looking for a sleep coach to support our clinical team of physicians and nurse practitioners. Our platform and practice thrives on leadership, autonomy, operating remotely. About the role You’ll be joining as an early employee, working alongside our founder Dr. Sahil Chopra, MD. You’ll develop and scale patient care delivery, helping in all aspects of patient care including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations. In addition to care delivery, we’re counting on you to maintain an exciting culture and collaborate closely with our product & engineering teams. What you’ll do • Perform coaching and ongoing care virtually for our members who have sleep disorders, such as obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, RLS and circadian rhythm disorders • Track progress of our members sleep using the Empower Sleep platform • Educate, follow care plans and optimize therapy for members for sleep apnea and chronic insomnia. • Work closely with a team of nurse practitioners, develop protocols, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as primary care physicians to ensure a holistic care • Educate members about sleep health and drive optimal health outcomes • Collaborate with the founding team to ideate, plan, organize and execute protocols that improve member outcomes • Encourage yourself & others to get good sleep and live a healthy & happy life :) Core Requirements • Certified sleep technician or respiratory therapist with 3+ years of experience • Have an in-depth knowledge of ResMed CPAP/BiPAP machines, masks, etc. • Comfortable troubleshooting CPAP masks or CPAP machine care online You’re a great fit if you • Are curious, compassionate and creative. • Can delivering an exceptional patient experience remotely via Zoom • You have a first principles and science centric mindset. • You have a zealous passion towards helping humans live a healthier life. • You can work well across teams of engineering, product, design as well as contribute to clinical protocol.
