Job Overview As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive outstanding support and service. Your primary responsibilities will include handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing assistance via phone, email, or chat channels. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent service to every customer, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded Register customers and verify their admission to clubs and/or lounges Complete all guest experience elements, including greeting customers by name, providing WIFI passwords, and offering assistance Make and confirm flight reservations using our semi-automated business review environment (SABRE) and other systems Check in premium passengers, handle flight changes, rebooking, and passport verification Track flights for boarding schedules, delays, or disruptions to best serve customer needs Issue customer tickets, including day of departure, reissues, and future tickets Cancel passenger reservations as requested Prioritize customers, including upgrades and standby Resolve customer travel difficulties promptly and efficiently Contact next-level customer service support as needed to handle unresolved customer issues Record customer issues in the passenger name record (PNR) Perform club enrollment or sales operations, including Admiral's Club or credit card subscriptions Coordinate services for customers with elite status, including Concierge Key program and Five Star service Assist customers with elite status as they navigate terminals Aid customers with luggage as needed Maintain the appearance of lounges or clubs, including conducting walk-throughs Engage with business partners to ensure food and beverages are available to club and/or lounge customers Supervise business partners providing services to the club(s) and/or lounge, including catering and sanitation Assist customers with technology available in the club(s) and/or lounge Reserve meeting rooms for same-day travel requirements Coordinate services for gatherings held in conference rooms, including food and beverages Complete opening and closing procedures for the club(s) and/or lounge Respond to escalating customer issues or concerns Perform liquor inventory audits with beverage business partners at some airports Monitor the KeyStar system to ensure suitable services are provided to clients, including government officials, OneWorld, Concierge Key, and FiveStar, at some airports Essential Qualifications GED or high school diploma Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the language Some locations require bilingual language capabilities Must pass an FAA criminal background check to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA) Ability to obtain proper airport authorization and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality setting Strong salesmanship and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect effectively with all levels of management and the general public Self-motivated and service-oriented, with a high level of professionalism Ability to attend training sessions in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas Previous experience in the travel industry is preferred Experience with computers is preferred Excellent organizing and administrative skills are necessary Capability to work irregular and/or long hours, including weekends and holidays Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
