Job Overview We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Payments and Digital Strategy crew, you'll be responsible for handling everyday tasks related to payment processing, item processing, direct bills, and fund transfers. Your exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you an invaluable asset to our team. Key Responsibilities Complete data entry and balancing tasks Coordinate return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and related Accounting standard ledger balancing Work member cases/sports assigned Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products Log, report, and make necessary GL, account changes and/or returns Process Stop Pays and Check Batching Complete daily balancing and department closing Obtain information from contributors for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer information Communicate with the vendor to process fund transfers Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws Deposit check returns, research member back checks on draft changes, process member checks, confirm members for outgoing fund transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing fund transfers Complete daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, foreign collections, and legal fees Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or GED Intermediate Excel and Word skills Previous customer/member service experience (preferred) Previous banking or Credit Union experience (preferred) Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience (preferred) Skills and Competencies We're looking for candidates with: Strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) Ability to work extended hours in support of business needs Excellent customer service skills Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and function as an integral part of a team Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-volume pressure Ability to cross-train and perform any role assigned within the department Ability to engage professionally with all personnel and contributors Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Ability to self-motivate with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
