You'll be the face of arenaflex, providing top-notch service to our valued customers and ensuring their needs are met with a smile. **What you'll do** Here are the key responsibilities of this role, which may be subject to change as the job evolves: * Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets * Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations * Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations * Perform traveler check-in and boarding tasks (excluding curbside), correct oversold seat assignments, and issue upgrades * Issue vouchers and coordinate with project workers for traveler lodging facilities, meals, and transportation; arrange refuel and refreshments * Perform traveler loading, including ticket lift and ticket lift/check * Operate gate readers/scanners and related tasks, including pre-boarding, observing/checking carry-on items, and departure line models * Operate jetways/bridges for the purpose of boarding and deplaning travelers * Make boarding and departure gate announcements * Convey domestic/international flight records * Perform traveler service flight close-out procedures * Accept, check, and label travelers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters * Maintain a schedule of flight boarding processes * Perform customer service hands-on training * Process and complete credit card baggage transactions at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Assist travelers with self-service kiosk check-in and baggage handling at ticket counters * Manage lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters * Clear/confirm international records at booths in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Accept and activate travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations * Assist clients requiring special assistance or in-station; assist boarding, deplaning, and transporting non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, or unaccompanied minors * Perform customer service work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements * Have regular and predictable attendance on site, including fulfilling any required overtime needs * Answer and assist during security and emergency situations * Provide interfacing traveler door information * Provide quality customer service in a professional manner and in accordance with arenaflex's policies * Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and performance guidelines * Complete task-related stages of training * Comply with applicable laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA) * Utilize various internal resources/frameworks, including during customer interactions * Wear attire as required by organizational policy **Sensible accommodations may be made for qualifying individuals with disabilities.** **Depending on your airport size, you may also perform the following tasks:** * Perform Passenger Activity Control capabilities, including air-to-ground communication and Peak capabilities * Assist international travelers through customs/migration, including baggage re-check * Convey tickets, international flight reports, and customs/migration forms **All you'll need for success** * Minimum Qualifications: + Education: Bachelor's degree + Bilingual language skills required in certain areas + Relevant valid driver's license as required by local authorities + Must meet FAA background checks to qualify for unescorted access badges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable + Must be able to obtain proper airport power and US Customs security identification, if necessary + Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, or fingerprinting to meet organizational and security requirements + Must be eligible to work in the U.S. * Preferred Qualifications: + Training and previous professional experience + Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service Systems + Past face-to-face customer service experience **What you'll get** Join the arenaflex family and enjoy: * Medical benefits: On your first day, you'll have access to your health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits to help you stay healthy.
