About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to be the first line of defense for our customers. As a remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own space, while being an integral part of our team. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, and you will report to our experienced Customer Service Manager. Although we are located in the heart of downtown Tampa, FL, this role offers the convenience of working remotely. Position Summary As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers via phone, email, and live chat. Your primary goal will be to resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a positive experience for our clients. You will be assigned a daily quota of emails to respond to, and you will also take phone calls and engage in live chats to address customer concerns. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer emails in a professional and timely manner, addressing questions and concerns related to their orders. Handle approximately 30-45 phone calls per day, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues related to orders, tracking, and package errors. Escalate complex issues to the Supervisor when necessary, ensuring that customers receive the support they need. Provide the first level of response for the company, setting the tone for a positive and efficient customer experience. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications: High school degree or equivalent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels. Strong customer service skills, both over the phone and in writing. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suite (or Google Docs/Sheets). Strong problem-solving ability, with the capacity to think critically and outside the box. Able to remain polite and composed under pressure, addressing customer issues in a timely and professional manner. Past experience in a phone or call center environment is highly desirable. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and qualifications will be highly valued: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service. Strong technical skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software. Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
