Job Overview We have multiple openings for full-time and part-time Customer Service Representatives to work remotely within our footprint states: WA, OR, MT, NM, and/or TX. As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients have a positive customer experience while resolving patient accounts in a timely and efficient manner. You will be the face of our organization, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide exceptional service and support. Key Responsibilities Ensure that patients have a positive customer experience by resolving patient accounts in a timely and efficient manner Be available to assist customers by closely adhering to set schedules and handle time standards Treat customers with compassion and respect, protecting their privacy and confidentiality at all times Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including healthcare providers and billing teams, to ensure seamless communication and resolution of patient accounts Meet or exceed performance standards, including productivity and quality metrics, to contribute to the achievement of service delivery and financial targets Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent A minimum of two years' experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or related industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a professional and compassionate manner Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues in a timely and efficient manner Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing competing demands Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration, business, or communications Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively Knowledge of healthcare billing and insurance practices, with the ability to navigate complex systems and processes Certification in customer service or a related field, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Healthcare Revenue Cycle Representative (CHRCR) Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a professional and compassionate manner Problem-solving skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues in a timely and efficient manner Time management skills: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software systems Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a flexible and positive attitude Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our employees.
