You will work closely with our account managers, estimating department, and other teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient order processing. Your excellent communication and problem-solving skills will enable you to effectively resolve customer inquiries and concerns, providing a positive experience for our customers. **Key Responsibilities** - Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely completion and meeting customer expectations - Verify order accuracy, checking for errors and discrepancies, and escalating issues to account managers or estimating department as needed - Document and arrange all releases from inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting - File tickets for all completed jobs, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies - Evaluate and verify purchase order correspondence with quotation, verifying with account managers when questions arise to maintain workflow - Prepare materials for return to customers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery - Document Haz-Mat orders, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies - Order marketing materials, ensuring timely delivery and meeting customer expectations - Manage internal forms, including custom labels, bills of lading, job tickets, invoices, and other documents - Manage FSI and FSC records, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting - Fill in for account managers and assume AM responsibilities when account managers are absent, including checking emails and voice mails and making relevant decisions that may impact the AM's business - Assist the estimating department as needed, providing support and ensuring efficient order processing - Perform additional tasks and duties as required and delegated by the Director of Sales - Work in compliance with blithequark's policies and procedures at all times **Essential Qualifications** - High school graduate or general education degree (GED) required - Associate's degree (two-year college or technical school) preferred - 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced setting - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines **Preferred Qualifications** - Bronze designation on ACT will be considered in lieu of high school equivalency - Experience in a manufacturing or production environment - Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and other software applications - Certifications or licenses in customer service or a related field **Skills and Competencies** - Accuracy: Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly - Active Listening: Ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others - Communication, Oral: Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word - Communication, Written: Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely - Detail Oriented: Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task - Financial Aptitude: Ability to understand and explain economic and accounting information, prepare and manage budgets, and make sound long-term investment decisions - Organized: Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task - Project Management: Ability to organize and direct a project to completion - Problem Solving: Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems - Safety Awareness: Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety - Time Management: Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines - Working Under Pressure: Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations **Work Environment** - Manufacturing office; climate-controlled environment - Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with multiple priorities and deadlines - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines **Compensation and Benefits** - Competitive hourly rate: $14.00 - $18.58 per hour - Comprehensive benefits package, including: - 401(k) and 401(k) matching - Dental insurance - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Flexible spending account - Health insurance - Life insurance - Paid time off - Paid training - Tuition reimbursement - Vision insurance **Schedule** - 8-hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday **Work Location** - In-person work environment If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual looking for a challenging role in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
