Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in a remote, full-time capacity. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for receiving inbound calls from child support client stakeholders, categorizing calls, and recording any abusive or extraordinary calls. You will also be expected to maintain a general understanding of policies and procedures, possess strong oral and written communication skills, and exhibit excellent interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy. Key Responsibilities: Receive inbound calls from child support client stakeholders and respond in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and contractual obligations Categorize all calls received into one of the provided categories Record any abusive and/or extraordinary calls Maintain a general understanding of policies and procedures Possess strong oral and written communication skills Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy Perform other duties as assigned Essential Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must have: High School Diploma or equivalent At least one year of prior experience in an area of service delivery, customer service, call center technology, or related field Proficiency in data entry skills, including keyboard, mouse, and 10-key pad Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute (a typing test will be administered during the interview process) Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Prior experience in a call center or customer service environment Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment Experience with remote or virtual work environments Remote Work Requirements: To qualify for this virtual/remote work-from-home position, you must have: A quiet and distraction-free workspace in your home with a desk/table A reliable, high-speed internet connection with at least 50 mbps download speed (cable or fiber only) A smartphone with Android OS or iPhone for user authentication Training and Support: Our training program is self-directed, allowing you to read materials and complete training modules at your own pace. You will have periodic meetings with your supervisor to discuss your progress, address any questions, and receive guidance. This approach ensures you have the flexibility to learn independently while still benefiting from regular support and feedback.
