With a focus on delivering exceptional service, you will be the face of blithequark, ensuring that our customers feel valued and supported throughout their travel journey. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include: * Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Providing accurate and up-to-date information on flight schedules, fares, and travel requirements * Processing ticket sales, refunds, and exchanges * Rebooking passengers on oversold flights and during irregular operations * Performing passenger registration and front seat tasks, including correcting oversold seat tasks and issuing upgrades * Issuing vouchers and coordinating with project workers for passenger lodging facilities, meals, and transportation * Performing passenger loading, including ticket lift and ticket lift/check * Operating gate readers/scanners and related duties, including pre-boarding, observing/checking carry-on items, and departure line models * Working jetways/bridges for the purpose of boarding and deplaning passengers * Making boarding and departure gate announcements * Conveying domestic/international flight records * Performing passenger service flight close-out methods * Accepting, checking, and labeling passengers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters * Maintaining a schedule of flight loading process * Performing customer service hands-on training * Processing and completing credit card baggage exchanges at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Assisting passengers with self-service kiosk registration and booth baggage handling at ticket counters * Operating lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters * Clearing/confirming international records at booths in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Accepting and activating passengers' self-labeled bags at activation stations * Assisting clients requiring special assistance or in-station; assisting boarding, deplaning, and shipping non-ambulatory passengers, special assistance passengers, or unaccompanied minors * Performing customer service work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements * Having standard and predictable attendance on site, including fulfilling any obligatory overtime requirements * Answering and assisting during security and crisis situations * Providing interfacing passengers door information * Providing quality customer service in a professional manner and according to blithequark's standards **What You'll Need for Success** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A bachelor's degree and previous professional training * Bilingual language abilities are expected in certain areas * A valid driver's license as required by local authorities * To meet FAA criminal history verifications to qualify for unescorted access awards to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable * To be able to obtain proper airport power and US Customs security identifications, if applicable * Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, or fingerprinting to meet organization and security requirements * To be approved to work in the U.S. **Preferred Qualifications** * Training and previous professional training * Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service System * Past face-to-face customer service experience * Working in a high-speed environment **What You'll Get** As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including: * Medical benefits: On the very first day, you'll have access to your health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits to help you stay healthy.
