Job Overview We are offering a 6-month fixed-term contract for a part-time Finance Manager & Company Secretary, working 3 days a week in a fully remote setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the finance function, including operations, financial reporting, and year-end processes. This is a sole part-time Finance Manager role, reporting directly to the CEO, and offers a competitive part-time salary of £30k. Key Responsibilities Oversee finance operations, including income, payable, and receivables, to ensure seamless financial management Prepare and complete monthly management accounts, including commentary for the senior management team, to provide insightful financial analysis Collaborate with budget holders to advise on program budgets, including income and expenditure, to drive financial planning and decision-making Work on and deliver the year-end process, including the audit schedule, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Ensure the company meets all regulatory compliance requirements, including charity accounts, SORP, and UKGAAP, to maintain our reputation and integrity Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and qualifications: Relevant accounting qualifications, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, to demonstrate your technical expertise Strong business partnering experience, with the ability to work closely with budget holders and senior management to drive financial planning and decision-making Experience in completing financial reporting and planning, including budgeting, actuals, income, and expenditure, to provide insightful financial analysis Experience in completing the year-end audit process, including audit schedules and financial statements, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Knowledge of charity accounts, including SORP and UKGAAP, to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain our reputation and integrity Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following skills and qualifications are desirable: Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with the ability to self-motivate and work independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with budget holders, senior management, and external stakeholders Experience with financial software and systems, such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage, to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency A strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, to drive business growth and decision-making Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
