Management may modify the role or require different tasks to be performed when functionally necessary, while adhering to any applicable legal commitments, including any collective bargaining agreements. * Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets * Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations * Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations * Perform traveler check-in and boarding tasks (excluding curbside), correct oversold seat assignments, and issue upgrades * Issue vouchers and assist with coordinating with project staff for traveler lodging facilities, meals, and transportation; coordinate refueling and reactivation * Perform traveler loading, including ticket lift and ticket lift/check * Operate entryway reader/scanner and related duties, including pre-boarding, observing/checking carry-on items, and departure line models * Operate jetways/bridges for the purpose of boarding and deplaning travelers * Make boarding and departure gate announcements * Convey domestic/international flight records * Perform traveler service flight close-out procedures * Accept, check, and label travelers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters * Maintain a schedule of flight loading process * Perform customer service hands-on training * Process and complete credit card baggage transfers at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Assist travelers with self-service kiosk check-in and baggage handling at ticket counters * Manage lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters * Clear/confirm international records at booths in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Accept and activate travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations * Assist clients requiring special assistance or in-station; assist boarding, deplaning, and shipping non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, or unaccompanied minors * Perform customer service work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements * Have regular and predictable attendance on site, including fulfilling any obligatory overtime requirements * Answer and assist during security and emergency situations * Provide interfacing traveler door information * Provide quality customer service in a professional manner and according to blithequark's standards * Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance guidelines * Complete task-related stages of training * Comply with applicable laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA) * Utilize various internal resources/frameworks, including during customer interactions * Wear uniform as required by company policy **Sensible accommodations may be made for qualifying individuals with disabilities.** **Depending on your airport size, you may also perform the following:** * Perform Traveler Activity Control capabilities, including air-to-ground communication, along with Peak capabilities * Assist international travelers through customs/migration, including baggage re-check * Convey tickets, international flight reports, and customs/migration forms **All You'll Need for Success** **Minimum Qualifications** * Education and Prior Professional Training * Bilingual language skills required in certain areas * Relevant valid driver's license as required by local authorities * Must meet FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access badges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable * Must be able to obtain proper airport power and US Customs security identifications, if necessary * Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, or fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements * Must be eligible to work in the U.S. **Preferred Qualifications** * Training and Prior Professional Training * Working knowledge of Saber or other Traveler Service Framework * Past face-to-face Customer Service experience **What You'll Get** Join the blithequark family and enjoy: * Medical benefits: On your very first day, you'll have access to your health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits to help you stay great.
