Job Overview We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Service Representative. In this role, you will provide critical telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. To be eligible, candidates must reside in Florida, within 75 miles of our Specialty location in Orlando (9310 Southpark Center Loop, Orlando, FL 32819). We offer flexible work schedules, including 11:30am - 8pm EST and 12:30pm - 9pm EST, allowing you to balance your work and personal life effectively. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revifying benefits. Assist patients with translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into our pharmacy information system. Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues. Utilize superb communication skills to interact effectively with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners, ensuring the timely processing of specialty medications and meeting financial and clinical expectations prior to fulfillment. Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need: Essential Qualifications One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone. One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications. One year of computer keyboarding experience, with skills and aptitude in this area. A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology are highly preferred.
