Job Summary This position is responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing support, guidance, proper follow-up, and resolution to client inquiries or issues. Key Responsibilities Assist customers with product questions, ordering, order tracking, complaints, and problems, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Enter orders into the system for billing and delivery, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Prepare quotes and coordinate mailings of literature and samples, providing customers with the information they need to make informed decisions. Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products. Retrieve needed information for the credit department, providing support and guidance to ensure smooth credit processes. Issue credits or debits accurately when applicable, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies. Set up new customers for the sales force, providing a seamless onboarding experience and ensuring a strong foundation for future sales growth. Answer incoming calls, responding to customer inquiries and providing exceptional customer service. Take sales orders from sales representatives and customers by phone, fax, and email, ensuring accurate and efficient order processing. Run credit card and check approvals, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies. Categorize, file, and maintain paperwork for audit purposes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. Print and distribute e-mailed customer purchase orders, providing timely and efficient communication with customers. Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job, as assigned on a temporary or permanent basis, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, or comparable experience in a related field. Detailed-oriented, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Good with basic math, with the ability to perform calculations and maintain accurate records. Skilled in Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to navigate and utilize various software applications. Experience with a multi-line phone system, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
