This is a full-time opportunity, working Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, where you will have the chance to make a positive impact on patient care and our business operations. Primary Responsibilities In this critical role, you will be the primary point of contact for patients, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy. Your key responsibilities will include: Answering incoming calls and responding to inquiries regarding patient accounts in a timely and professional manner Coordinating billing activities among peers, recognizing problems, and researching options for the manager to ensure seamless operations Performing billing and verification tasks as assigned, utilizing your knowledge of medical billing and insurance verification to maximize reimbursements Calculating out-of-pocket amounts for advanced services and contacting patients with anticipated amounts due, ensuring transparency and clarity in all communications Working closely with the manager and supervisors to formulate and implement departmental objectives, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services Education, Experience, and Knowledge To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School diploma or equivalent, demonstrating your foundation in core subjects and ability to learn and grow At least two years of experience in medical billing and insurance verification, with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and its complexities Two years of experience in a customer service environment, showcasing your ability to provide exceptional support and resolve issues effectively Familiarity with NextGen EPM software and Epic software is a plus, as you will be working with various systems and technologies to perform your duties Skills and Abilities To excel in this position, you will need to possess: Excellent keyboarding skills, with the ability to navigate the Windows environment and utilize various payer verification and claims software Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to spell accurately, write legibly, and convey complex information in a clear and concise manner Exceptional customer service skills, with a patient-centric approach and a commitment to resolving issues promptly and professionally A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements This role will require: Continuous sitting, with frequent use of a computer and repetitive fine hand manipulation Simple grasping of items, with occasional bending and twisting of the neck and back Standing and/or walking, with lifting and carrying of items up to 25 lbs, as needed Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
