Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Associate to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Service Associate, you will play a vital role in achieving our Corporate Customer Service vision by providing exceptional support to our retail customers. You will be responsible for communicating with customers, understanding and solving their needs, gaining their respect and trust, and assisting in their growing business. Key Responsibilities Service retail customers by answering questions, dealing with inquiries, taking orders, handling shipping and receiving issues, addressing quality complaints, and providing information on stock availability Enter and edit orders in our system to meet customer needs and ensure timely fulfillment Handle outside calls by routing them to the appropriate areas or taking messages to ensure necessary responsiveness Utilize sound judgment when making decisions, using the brand/divisional sign-off matrix as a guide Resolve and interpret periodical reports, such as Open Orders, Past Cancel, and Orders Held reports, to identify areas for improvement Interact regularly with Vendor Relations and the Distribution Center to resolve shipping, handling, and routing questions or problems Develop and maintain professional relationships with assigned accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty Perform duties consistent with arenaflex's AAP/EEO goals and policies, promoting diversity, inclusivity, and equal opportunities Perform other duties as required or assigned by your manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or GED, with an Associate's degree being a plus Prior experience in a business or customer service environment, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support to customers Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize your work effectively Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance quality and quantity of work The ability to anticipate problems and take appropriate action, demonstrating a proactive approach to customer service Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to make decisions based on experience, analysis, and judgment A commitment to providing "best in class" customer service to our retailers, with a focus on building strong relationships and driving customer loyalty Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: The ability to speak and write in Spanish and/or French, with a strong understanding of cultural nuances and differences Experience working in a team environment, with a proven ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive and inclusive culture A strong understanding of the footwear, apparel, and accessories industry, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions A proactive approach to customer service, with a focus on anticipating problems and taking appropriate action A strong commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and equal opportunities, with a passion for promoting a positive and inclusive culture The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our associates with opportunities for growth and development.
