Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, and resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. You will also be responsible for providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, recommending items for sale, and processing transactions on assigned cash registers. Key Responsibilities Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience Recommends items for sale to customers and recommends trade-up and/or companion items, using knowledge of products and services to make personalized recommendations Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, takes inventory, and maintains records, ensuring that the store is always tidy and well-organized Constructs and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise, completes resets and revisions as directed, and assists with exterior and interior maintenance Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products, and assumes web pick-up responsibilities Complies with all company policies and procedures, maintains respectful relationships with coworkers, and completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) and be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. You must also be able to provide exceptional customer service, work effectively in a team environment, and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times. Preferred Qualifications Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth Prefer prior work experience with blithequark, with a deep understanding of our products, services, and company culture Prefer to be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico), with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
