Job Expectations As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers, vendors, and the community at large. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional guest service, ensuring that every customer leaves our station feeling valued and satisfied. To achieve this, you will be expected to: Maintain courteous and professional contact with all stakeholders, including coworkers, customers, vendors, and the community. Adhere to our image standards, presenting a neat and clean appearance at all times. Follow established safety, security, quality guidelines, and company policies, procedures, practices, and programs, reporting any accidents or incidents to management immediately. Utilize our Loss Prevention process to preserve the safety of yourself, fellow employees, and customers. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met, following county regulations and proper sanitation, food handling, preparation, storage, and disposal procedures. Comply with federal law and company standards when carding customers for age-restricted products. Work professionally with vendors and contractors, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude at all times. Attend work regularly and punctually, adhering to our attendance policies. Follow proper kitchen and sanitation procedures during the preparation of food products, including KKC items. Essential Functions In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: Providing exceptional guest service, greeting and thanking customers, and making eye contact to ensure a positive experience. Conducting point-of-sale activities accurately and safely, adhering to company guidelines and procedures. Maintaining a cash drawer, securing funds in a safe, and performing cashier reconciliation at the end of each shift. Cleaning and maintaining the station's indoor and outdoor facilities, including restrooms, islands, pumps, and car washes. Preparing food and hot beverage products, managing ExtraMile and/or KKC foodservice and beverages to maximize sales and minimize loss. Promoting store specials and marketing programs to customers. Cross-checking prices of delivered goods for accuracy and distributing them in an orderly manner throughout the store. Observing local law requirements when activating and filling vehicle fuel tanks with gasoline or diesel fuel. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Availability to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Excellent judgment and ability to work independently and in team settings. Required up-to-date food handling certificates, as required by law (in specific locations only). Cooking or restaurant experience is preferred, but not essential. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Basic math skills and ability to operate a point-of-sale system. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift and move products, and work in a variety of environmental conditions.
