Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the single-point-of-contact for our members, plan sponsors, and providers, answering questions and resolving issues with empathy and compassion. Your role will be critical in delivering personalized health care solutions, connecting our customers with additional services as needed, and ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to heart-centered care. Key Responsibilities: Answers questions and resolves issues based on phone calls from members, plan sponsors, and providers, taking ownership of each customer contact to ensure resolution and connection to additional services as appropriate. Takes immediate action when confronted with a problem or made aware of a situation, seeking to understand the customer's circumstances, problems, expectations, and needs. Asks probing questions to identify underlying customer needs and anticipates or identifies member needs beyond the initial inquiry, providing related information to answer unasked questions. Provides customized interaction based on customer preference and individualized needs, creating an emotional connection with our members by understanding and engaging them to the fullest. Educates and assists customers on various elements of benefit plan information and available services, utilizing all relevant information to effectively influence member engagement and support them in managing their health. Guides members to the appropriate health resource, offering alternatives where appropriate, and acts with the best interest of the customer in mind, central to all interactions. Documents and tracks all contacts, events, and outcomes with members using appropriate systems and processes, resolving issues without or with limited management intervention. Responds quickly to meet customer needs and resolve problems while avoiding over-committing, and participates in preparation and presentation of client-specific presentations as needed. Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: Customer Service experience in a transaction-based environment, such as a call center or retail location, demonstrating the ability to be empathetic and compassionate. Effective organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, with strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A High School Diploma is required, and while not necessary, a degree in a related field or relevant certifications can be an advantage. Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following qualifications can make your application more competitive: Experience in health care or a related field, with knowledge of benefit plans and health care services. Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service, with a strong focus on empathy, compassion, and personalized solutions.
