Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide friendly and professional customer service. Experience in retail and customer service, preferably in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating your foundational education. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Prior experience as a sales associate or cashier, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer care. Ability to think quickly and offer suggestions, demonstrating your problem-solving skills and creativity. Familiarity with retail operations, including store appearance standards and customer service protocols. Physical Requirements This role requires: Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with regular breaks to ensure your comfort and safety. Lifting and/or carrying up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead, up to 30 minutes in a shift, with appropriate lifting techniques to avoid injury. Occasional lifting and/or carrying up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level, as needed. Pushing/pulling with arms up to a force of 20 pounds, using equipment or tools as required. Bending at the waist with some twisting, up to one hour a shift, with regular stretching to maintain flexibility. Grasping, reaching, and manipulating objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination, with the possibility of climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs.
