As a key member of our Client Success Department, the Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for clients enrolled in our programs. About the Customer Service Representative Role As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will embark on a comprehensive four-week training program to become an expert in our financial hardship programs. Upon completing the training, you will be responsible for providing superior customer service and a positive experience to our clients. This role is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. Our call center operates 7 days a week, with hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00am-10:00pm CST, and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00am-9:00pm CST. The ability to work weekends and evenings is required, as we strive to provide around-the-clock support to our clients. Key Responsibilities Provide a helpful and caring customer service experience over high-volume inbound and outbound client phone calls of varying complexity, responding to client requests, anticipating unstated needs, and educating them on our programs in a remote call center environment. Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve client issues by utilizing active listening and critical thinking to provide first-call resolution, focusing on the customer relationship. Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, excel at customer interaction, and deliver practical solutions to ensure client satisfaction. Develop and maintain positive client relations, working collaboratively with other departments within arenaflex to ensure client requests and questions are handled in a timely and efficient manner. Work independently and with a team to drive retention of clients through bolstering product knowledge and providing best-in-class service at all times. Operate, navigate, and troubleshoot a desktop computer to obtain and extract information, research through multiple computer programs and systems simultaneously, and document information, activities, and changes in the CRM database for client accounts. Continuously learn, interpret, and utilize company and industry knowledge, practices, and procedures to deliver accurate and up-to-date solutions to clients. Meet and exceed client-centric performance expectations, focusing on the quality of service and efficiency. Engage with feedback from leaders and team members to collaborate and streamline workflows, ensuring a seamless client experience. Essential Qualifications Minimum 1 year of call center experience required, with high-volume experience preferred. Reliable, high-speed internet connection required for remote work. Strong computer technical skills, with the ability to learn and navigate complex systems. Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening. Ability to operate with understanding, active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness towards customers. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to independently handle routine and complex client inquiries. People-focused approach and solution mindset, with effective problem-solving skills. Effective time management, planning, and organizing tasks to meet performance expectations. Ability to work from home in a distraction-free environment, with a dedicated workspace. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual - Spanish (preferred, but not required). Previous experience in a financial services or related industry. Knowledge of CRM databases and experience with troubleshooting technical issues.
